I’ve been trying to post this on this wonky Facebook page I’ve got here today. FINALLY!
Another one from my off the trail hike at West Beach. I was able to get a little wild and crazy with this and then detail it up. The leaves on the tree were mostly done with an oil painter’s fan brush: the bristles are stiff and make the nicest chaotic lines and if you dab the paint it makes these crazy patterns.
10.25″ x 14″, Winsor & Newton watercolors (still waiting for that endorsement deal) on 300# Arches cold press paper.
