Hey, everybody! It’s Pandemic Painting time! Here’s your Literal Artist-in-Residence, The One and Only Indiana Bill Cavalier, with #34 in a series.
Howdy, folks. Today’s painting is what’s old is now new, being a new watercolor over an older pencil drawing done in 2014. One step up from a study, actually, painted over a sketch I did at West Beach.
A smallish (7.5″ x 10.5″) piece done on that crappy “pretend” watercolor paper in a sketchbook. I used mostly W&N colors, but I’ve broken out my honey-infused Sennelier palette and may try a couple with those fine French paints.
Hope you are all having as good a day as possible and that you stay safe and cool, or warm, or dry, or wet – depending on where you are and what your current needs might be. Be safe.
