I have already done this scene in watercolor but wanted to try black and white. Pretty happy with the effect I generated.
For the grass area, I used a Uni-Ball SIGNO 0.5 gel pen and for the shadow I doubled up with the same pen, only with a 1.0 tip. Made for some nicely intense line scribbles and gave me pretty much what I was looking for.
