Well, I found out yesterday (not really) that figures – even cartoon ones – are more difficult than landscapes. I took it easy on myself with this one but I’m still enjoying scribbling nature with a black line.
I used a nifty Pentel STYLO pen for this – it has a pointy yet flexible plastic nib which makes for nice thick to thin grass, among other things. And I have been “cheating” a bit: I’m doing all of these in my daily Bee Pen Sketchers sketchbook, so it also counts as my daily drawing.
And I’m still waiting for these unsolicited testimonials to start paying off!
