Pandemic Painting #47

Pandemic Painting #47 is done from a photo provided by my artist friend Diane Engel. My fall scenes are not usually painted with this much color but this turned out ok. We’ve had a very colorful fall season this year; now that we’re expecting that apple crispness in the air, it’s going to be 75 degrees plus here in NW Indiana for the next few days! Mother Nature is teasing us – or torturing us – just like waiting for election results!I did this on 300# Arches cold press paper with my Winsor & Newtons. Fun fact: I did this on the back of a painting that was an abject failure – this heavy cardboard like paper can withstand heavy re-wetting. The trees were mostly done in one pass, all juiced up and sloppy. (Song reference there.)Hope you are all safe and sound, trying to enjoy these interesting times in which we live.
