Pandemic Painting 76

Today’s artistic endeavors have resulted in Pandemic Painting #76.

This scene is from the yard of the Kuerner Farm – I seem to be on an Andrew Wyeth-inspired kick lately. There are several low walls there that were built hodge-podge from stones found on the land and they are all just incredibly beautiful. Reminds me of the flagstone patios and fireplaces built by my grandparents oh so many years ago.

OK, back from that trip down memory lane, I can tell you that this 10.5″ x 14.25 painting was accomplished with Winsor & Newton watercolors splashed onto 300# cold press Arches paper. I went with cold press for more texture and this one turned out ok.

Everyone please be a little more careful out there these days. This !@#$%^& pandemic refuses to stop. Eventually I would like to post Non-Pandemic Paintings!
