Pandemic Painting #95

Pandemic Painting #95 shows me that even a not so hot painting can be warmed up with the addition of a monarch butterfly.

This one took a left turn at Albuquerque and the bottom half got wiped away with clean water and an angry sponge. I attempted to repaint the lower part, added the butterfly and cropped off about a third of the mess and here we are.
Looks like I wasted some 300# Arches hot press and some Winsor & Newton watercolour and gouache on this 9.75″ x 9.75″ mess.

But crappy ones count in my journey now towards 100+ Pandemic Paintings. Wish I could’ve ended this at 50.
Got some better ones in the works and the fun continues, so don’t despair!

Stay safe and hope you are well.
