OK, it’s time for Inktober! The challenge is do one ink drawing a day.
So I decided to start slinging some ink on a daily basis for the month. As I’ve got a ton of pencil drawings that I use as preliminaries for a lot of my watercolors, I’m using those as a basis for my ink drawings here.
I put the pencil drawing on my light table and render the pencil drawing in ink on a page from my Pen Sketchers book. Get my daily drawing done that way, too.
This one shows a crazy door set-up at the Kuerner Farm in Chadds Ford, PA, where Andrew Wyeth spent years of his life chronicling the farm with art.
I used a Micron PN (plastic nib) pen for this; I think I’ll try using a different ink pen for every day.
