This is just a quick little line drawing, done with my fountain pen.
The subject matter is from a painting that I did back in the 70’s, of which I have a photo to do a drawing from.
Funny story about the painting. I had it on display at a mall art fair along with a dozen or so others. This fellow comes by and says, ”I love it! I wanna buy it!” All right! “I’m going to walk down and see the rest of the show and come back and buy it.”
Well, if I had a nickel for every time I’d heard that, I’d have a lot of nickels.
Dude #1 didn’t leave a deposit and wasn’t gone 5 minutes when another dude shows up and says, “I love it! Here, take my dough.”
So, needless to say, Dude #1 was a bit miffed when he came back to buy “his” painting. Hope he learned a lesson there.
