It was fun digging out an ink bottle and a pen holder with a stiff nib in it, so I just started scribbling a painting scene that I’ve done before. I sometimes handle a dip pen like a brush, turning it on its side and rubbing ink onto the page. All the scratchy lines were a good way to get me adjusted to some loose drawing for this one.
I’m doing these on 6″ x 8″ Strathmore Mixed Media paper and will no doubt be using the wide variety of black marking instruments that I have.
