This drawing is me working out a composition for a painting I’ll be demonstrating next week at the Michigan City Art League.
It was interesting to do; as I was scratching the dune grass, I was listening to The Guess Who’s “Heartbroken Bopper” and keeping time with my strokes on the paper. Then The Rolling Stones’ “Dead Flowers” came on and I was able to keep the same rhythm. Good thing the “Volga Boat Song” didn’t come on.
I might do all of these with my .05 Micron – great all-around drawing pen. 6″ x 8″ on Strathmore Mixed Media paper.
