I came into this year’s Inktober realizing my artistic enthusiasm was a bit down, so it’s taking me time to get going on Inktober. So far, I’m doing fairly pedestrian drawings of easy, familiar subjects, scratching a pen across paper in hopes it will work itself out.
I guess that’s ok but I think I need to challenge myself a little more. Or not. I’m enjoying myself, so maybe that’s enough.
My excuse is that it’s been a f’d up year in a number of ways and learning of the passing of another friend today didn’t help.
But these little victories do, so keep on keepin’ on, folks.
