Since 2006 (20 years now!) I’ve been a regular contributor to Jolly Blackburn’s Knights of the Dinner Table comic magazine. In that time, I’ve had nearly 160 of my gag cartoons published in the “Parting Shots” back page that includes D&D cartoons and related humor.
This is a re-draw of one of my personal favorites; it features Lefty, Winston & Stan, an unlikely triumvirate of sketchy characters in a back alley in Monster World. It was done with an .05 Micron on a cheap 6″ x 8″ watercolor page.
Shout out to Jolly Blackburn for being a longtime leader in finding the funny in our Dungeons & Dragons hobbies and for helping me be a “professional” cartoonist!
