I did this one from a photo I took from my car right near my boyhood home in Miller. The road running through is Indian Boundary, and the area has remained unchanged for over 70 years (with the exception of a new house at the corner with Warren Street.)
Anyway, the entire area is rife with deer and this yearling was kind enough to pose for me.
That fountain pen is my tool of choice lately; I supplemented the drawing with my Pentel Brush Pen. Lots of doodling and scribbling here.
