Tonight’s offering comes to you as a 60 year process for Yerz Trooly.
When I was 14, I would sit in my room, draw and listen to the Beatles (on vinyl). Now I am 74 and I still like to sit in my room, draw and listen to the Beatles (on a computer).
While thumbing through You Tube, I found a rare Beatles concert (audio only) from 4-4-63, when the Fabs did a show at Stowe School in England. It lasted an hour and the quality was only fair, but it was great fun to listens to the boys in their purest form: two guitars, bass and drums. The only addition to that was John honking on his chromatic for Love Me Do.
Man, it was very cool.
This drawing is kind of secondary to my evening, but I can tell you that my fountain pen was keeping time with the strokes of grass to the Band What Changed Everything.
