Cheryl Cavalier got some amazing photos at the amazing Burton Cummings concert we attended last night. The old boy still has it and it was a great time! He is one of the best vocalists EVER in rock and roll.
This drawing is from one of my favorite photos; we were about 120′ from the stage but right in front of the giant screen, so it was like we were up close and personal all night. Burton does a great flute solo during UNDONE.
I think I’ll turn this into a watercolor.
Anyway, I used a 20 year old uni-ball UM 100 Sanford Uni-gel Medium pen for this and washed in the black with my Pentel Brush Pen. The UM 100 is one of the last ones I have – to my chagrin they are not made any more.
