What?! Pandemic Painting #35 on the night AFTER PP #34? What the heck is going on?
This one almost didn’t make it; while it’s not a candidate for the Wyeth Barrel, I did this at the same time I did #34. Done quickly and without a whole lot of thought, I was trying to get juiced up and sloppy (phrase borrowed from Mick Jagger – bonus points if you can tell me what song) so I rushed through this one.
It’s another old is new, with the pencil sketch underneath being done in ’14. The scene is from Lake View Park over in Beverly Shores and over the course of Lake Michigan destroying its southern beach this last year, this little knob of sand & trees no longer exists.
The usual paint on crappy paper here. Working on a better one for next time.
