This was done on 140# cold press Arches paper. I broke out my Sennelier watercolors for this one; they have honey mixed in and flow very nicely from brush to paper
The reference photo I used for this was taken at a small vineyard on Wozniak Road south of Michigan City here. All the detail proved to be somewhat cathartic, inasmuch as it took me away to the recesses of my brain as I was painting. That, and listening to an Arlo Guthrie Soundstage concert from 1974 via You Tube, which was like mental marijuana!
