Cheryl and I have had a sad week, getting used to Roscoe not being with us any more. It’s that period of adjustment that nobody likes. But we are filled with wonderful memories and I say goodnight to him every night. We’ll be better, of course, as the days tick away – and we are grateful for him letting us be his caretakers. The memories will never fade.
The last couple of weeks took their toll on my painting but I found picking up the brush again yesterday helps with the healing process. So, here is Pandemic Painting #55.
This ramshackle building complex is on the outskirts of Michigan City, slowly wasting away. I detailed up the structures to play off the chaos of the surrounding scenery and I’m fairly well pleased with this one.
Colors by Winsor & Newton, 300# hot press paper by Arches and this one comes in at 9.75″ x 13″.
Hope you all are staying safe
