Pandemic Painting #58

Finished up Pandemic Painting #58 while You Tubing some J. Geils Band live along with a heavy dose of unreleased Stones. Mick Jagger and Magic Dick are two of my favorite harp players and in 1971 they were in damn fine form.

This splashing of color upon paper is another scene from the West Beach dunes. I wanted to try a composition with the main object in the left-to-right center and see what I could do with everything around it to change what is usually a no-no in composition. I think it works ok.

I’m really liking the way my Winsor & Newton colors set up on Arches 300# hot press paper. While I rate this painting only fair-to -middlin’, it does satisfy me and that’s what really counts.
9.5″ x 12.5″ for all you measurement mavens out there.

Hope you are doing well as the world begins to improve
