Hard on the heels of 101 comes Pandemic Painting #102.
I had this one in my “half-finished” pile and now it’s done. The image is from a photo taken by my lovely bride Cheryl Cavalier and depicts the lot next door to the Robert E. Howard Museum in Cross Plains, Texas. The next one of this I do will include the troop of goats that was wandering down the stone street in front of this place.
I ramshackled the buildings a bit more than they are and turned it into a Red Roof Inn for Goats and I’m okay with the way it turned out.
9.25″ by 14″ inches of Winsor & Newton watercolor goodness on Arches 300# hot press paper. The fencing was accomplished with a plastic nib Miron pen of the sepia coloring.
Hope y’all are getting ready fro Christmas in a fun, positive way. Stay healthy and smart.
