Pandemic Painting #160. Challenge #24.
Got this one done just in time after finishing up a cartooning project. I do enjoy an old barn side for sure and this one was made even better with old cinder blocks. Hmmm…I think need to work in an old rusty 55 gallon barrel.
With this particular painting, I did a little bit of experimenting with some wonky brushes and a 6B pencil. There are times when I’m really focused on a piece, just grinding away and then I’ll pull back and go “OK, this is done”. That was tonight.
July is Sennelier month, it seems, along with the ever-present Arches 140# cold press paper. 5.75″ x 10.25″.
