Pandemic Painting #161. Challenge #25

Pandemic Painting #161. Challenge #25.

Well, here’s another example of a painting that just kinda came together. I sometimes go into a trance-like state when painting and at the end of this one I had to admonish myself and say STOP ALREADY! Knowing when to stop is an important trait for a watercolor painter.

This is another scene from Fedder’s Alley here in Michigan City’s Washington Park. I am ok with this one.

The Sennelier watercolors work well with washes that I leave alone (sky) and give me some nice darks where I need them (grass). Painting dark in watercolor can sometimes be difficult. The Arches 140# cold press paper is some good stuff too. This one is 7.25″ x 10.25″

Hope y’all are doing ok
