Pandemic #167. Challenge #31

Pandemic #167. Challenge #31.

Challenge completed!
Well, I read this on the intra-webs, so I know that the July is Watercolor Month Challenge was real. Well, it was real for me, as I did one watercolor per day for the month of July.

Interesting endeavor, for sure. Tune in tomorrow to see if I continue with one per day. I may have started something. Also, if I sell any of these, it will be at a lower price than a “regular” painting. PM me if you’re interested.

This scene is from a photo taken by my lovely bride Cheryl Cavalier at Washington Park Beach here in Michigan City. I liked the abstractness of it and I made the painting intentionally abstract. (Being lazy on the last day, really…)

Sennelier watercolors have served me well on this journey, so I will probably continue with both these and my Winsor & Newtons. I’ve still got a ton of Arches paper, so that will be my paper of choice for awhile. This one is 5.825″ x 10.325″.

Pandemic Paintings will continue because the damned thing just won’t quit. When Lester Holt tells me it’s over, the series ends.
Stay well, y’all.
