September 19th

I’ve been mixing up my art endeavors lately: watercolor painting, cartooning and alcohol ink on ceramic tiles and I’ve been enjoying the mash-up very much.
I’m going to continue with both my watercolors and cartooning for awhile here; the alcohol ink thing was a product of a couple sessions at the Michigan City Art League.
I’ll post some of these over the next few days.

This painting is a re-do of a former piece; I used both Winsor & Newton and Sennelier colors on this, along with some outlining with a sepia Micron .01 and the addition of a bit of gouache in the foreground. It is 9.5″ by 13.5″ on Arches 140# cold press paper.
