I finished a big cartoon commission job earlier in the week, so I’m back to painting! With several works in the hopper I’ll be getting back on a more painterly schedule.
This one is from a series I’ll be working on: the Wall of Green in my back yard. While time consuming, I want to explore this subject, the wonderful weeds of summer. More dunes are planned as well. I just hung three paintings at Lakeshore Coffee here in Michigan City adding to the display that the MC Art League has there.
Life is going along pretty well here in NW Indiana in the middle of summer. While a 90+ heat wave is coming our way later this week, we’ve avoided the horrible 110+ heat that our southern and southwest friends have had to endure this summer. Lake Michigan is Mother Nature’s air conditioner for us.
