As of Saturday morning, January 20, we have 35 inches of snow outside our door here in Michigan City!
We watched it snow all day yesterday, so I thought it would be a good time to paint. Lots of time, we have plenty of food (and coffee) in our warm little house, there’s a travel restriction in place so we’re not going anywhere – so what do I do?
This painting took me all of 20 minutes, aided in part by how I could leave the white of the paper for snow. Winsor & Newton watercolours on Canson Illustration Artboard smooth surface. 8″ x 10″.
I’ll probably try for a longer painting session today – let’s go 30 minutes!
