With the temperatures here in NW Indiana into the Danger Zone (110 heat index!) yesterday and today, I was well advised by my lovely bride to not go out. Ahh, no problem, dear!

So, I conjured up a cool-inducing watercolor here, taking myself back to the twilight shores of Lake Michigan. After a hot day at the beach, the sand in the evening always cooled way down. What happened after that will stay in my memories!

This was done on 10.25″ x 14″ Arches 140# hot press paper with my Winsor & Newton watercolours and a variety of brushes.
Hope you all are keeping cool. Stay hydrated!
