Like I said, I’ve been experimenting with adding watercolour wash to my Inktober drawings. These are all 6″ x 8″, so I can paint two or three at a time.
While most of the drawings were done with a waterproof ink, several were not. And when water hits a water soluble ink, it’s usually adios drawing. A couple of the drawings are totally wrecked, but I’ve salvaged a couple, like this one.
The watery color wash over this one turned out spectacular, if I may say so myself. I went gently with the water with very quick, light strokes and added color carefully.
I’ll show a few more of these, both the line drawing and the colorized version.
Hope your Thanksgivng time was good.
