I haven’t been painting as much as I should be, but I AM making at least some kind of art every day. Mostly pencil sketching and cartooning since the first of the year; still trying to shake a mild case of winter doldrums. It’s working…
So now, in anticipation of teaching a realistic watercolour painting class for the Michigan City Art League, what do I do? An abstract, limited palette landscape done with a big honkin’ #14 brush and the edge of a torn piece of stiff paper!
Do I know how to party or what? Winsor & Newton watercolours on 140# Arches hot press at 9.5″ x 13″.
Have a better one.
