Pandemic Painting #164. Challenge #28.
Imagine being a fly on the wall in Muddy Water’s Chicago basement in 1965 and listening to Otis Spahn tickling the ivories and James Cotton blowin’ harp.
This is from a photo in The Chicago Tribune a few years ago. I painted it then but wanted to have another go.
Turned out pretty good.
I was rocking the Senneliers on Arches 140# cold press tonight, coming in at 7.75″ x 10.25″.
Hope this painting represents the only blues you’ve got going on tonight.
