Pandemic Painting #163. Challenge #27.
I think I went a little heavy with the pigment on the lower half of this one but I rolled with it and it turned out ok.
This scene is from the National Lakeshore Park that encompasses Beverly Shores and it incorporates two of my favorite subjects: milkweed and sunflowers.
A decent bit of work, even if it’s not in my top Ten of the Month. Four more days to finish the challenge. If I’m smart, I’ll continue with a watercolor a day; realistically two a week is more like it, but those will be bigger.
This one is 5.75″ x 10.25″ on Arches 140# cold press. My Senneliers were supplemented with a single Winsor Newton: Gold Green.
Hope you all are well supplemented tonight.
