Lately, I’ve been revisiting some scenes that I have previously painted, for a couple of reasons. One is to just see how my technique of the day will react to a completion of a piece, and another is just to see if I can improve on the previous work. Learn by doing or prior experience, maybe.
Well, with this one, I repainted it because somewhere along the line, I “misplaced” the original. I say “misplaced” because I have no absolute proof that somebody swiped it from me when I had it in my “flip through” sales box when I was painting out in public. I do have a digital record of version #1, but I wanted the original, so I tried it again. It turned out ok.
