Sometimes I’ll start a painting with a plan – sometimes not. With this one, I thought I had a plan, but it turns out I just let this take me wherever.
By way of explanation, I didn’t really plan on making this a duo-chrome piece, but burnt sienna/van dyke brown did well for the foliage and ultramarine/cobalt blue took care of the lake and sky.
There was also an infusion of yellow ochre and sepia, but not enough to really matter.
I can amuse myself in so many ways! Hope you are all doing as well as possible.
