Pandemic Painting #53 is on tap tonight, courtesy of another photo trip into the rural areas of LaPorte County, Indiana.
Two kinds of chaos in this one: the stumps and logs in the foreground and the deteriorating barn in back. Seemed to strike a chord with me, so a detailed pencil drawing in my sketchbook eventually led to this.
I tried to let the watercolor do some of the work here, floating wet color on top of both wet and dry parts. I may eventually add some to this one, but it stands for now.
Good ol’ Winsor & Newton paint on 300# Arches cold press paper share the credit here. 7.25″ x 12″ are the borders.
Please stay safe, y’all.
