Pandemic Painting #67 is scanned and ready for your peepers!
Several people have mentioned how much I must enjoy painting old buildings and I suppose that’s true enough. What I need to do is find an old building in the middle of a sand dune and I’ll have my painting passions covered.
This scene is to the right (at a right angle, even) to the old barn with the silo. I love painting viney stuff – I just let my fine pointy-tipped brush make swirly marks and it seems to work out. The magic of watercolor!
I’m actually starting to stack up some paintings to display as I’m enjoying a springtime painting jones; I need to keep busy and this painting stuff seems to be working.
Winsor & Newton watercolors and Arches 300# cold press paper make up this 7.75″ x 12.5″ piece.
Hope y’all are continuing on in good spirits.
