Time to get caught up here with Pandemic Painting #85.
Actually, I’ve got three paintings to post bingo-bango-bongo here. This one here is mostly made up, as I was trying to knock one out quickly. I guess 30 minutes qualifies this.
I washed in the sky very fast, a mix of cobalt, pthalo and ultramarine blues and then dropped in some extra ultramarine as it was drying. Then whammo-blammo with some Grumbacher Pthalo Green Light and also Grumbacher Hooker’s Green Deep and zip-zop walk away. Why I am talking like a beatnick I do not know. But’s it’s all groovy.
So a mix of Grumbacher and Winsor & Newton for the paint on some weird Strathmore 140# cold press paper, measured out to 10″ x 13″.
