Pandemic Painting #87 is actually a Throwback Thursday of sorts.
As a kid, I lived in a house on top of a sand dune. My Robinson grandparents came to the Miller section of Gary, Indiana and built a house on a hill at least 100′ high, overlooking Indian Boundary.
My painting here shows the 21st Century version of the private driveway that lead up to the other four houses on the cul-de-sac. Sadly, only three houses are still up there.
But the crystal clear memories remain. Hope y’all are holding on to your good ones, too. Be well.
This 10″ x 13″ piece was done on 140# Arches cold press paper with my trusty Winsor & Newton watercolors.
