Pandemic Painting #89

Been meaning to post this here Pandemic Painting #89 but I’ve been goofing off a little. Also, completed a special Halloween project and almost finished another commission. And, I do have another PP coming in a couple of days, so here we are.

I’ve painted this several times before, and I don’t remember if it’s a previous Pandemic Painting because my organizational skills are that of a 72 year old retired dude. Anyway, this is a freshly painted one, done from a photo provided to me by Dr. Josh Adkins from down Kaintuck way.

Had some fun with washes and dragging a brush around on this one. It’s always fun when the oranges of autumn bump up against the blues and whites of an early winter snow.

Did this on a 300# Arches watercolor block with Winsor & Newton watercolour (the way it’s spelled in Jolly Ol’ England). It clocks in at 10.25″ high by 11.25″ wide.

It would be nice if by the time I get to PP #100 were out of this mess. Stay safe and get smart!
