Pandemic Painting #94

Happy Halloween, everybody!
The extent of my Halloween celebration is here in the form of Pandemic Painting #94.

I wanted to do a themed painting for the spooky day and when I looked at Lance Werner‘s photo of a sunset cornfield, I saw my inspiration. There seemed to be monstrous faces lurking in said cornfield, so I just let the paint flow.
So instead of candy corn, you get Creepy Corn.

I did this on 140# cold press Arches that was sealed in a block that I have. I haven’t worked too much on blocks lately, but I might pick back up on them. Winsor & Newton provided the watercolour (with a touch of white gouache for some teefers). 9.5″ by 14.75″.

Have a spooktacular Halloween!
