Pandemic Painting #123, Take Two.
Tried posting this last night, but the cursed Intraweb Gods were not kind to me.
#123 is a departure from a regular watercolor, inasmuch as it was drawn with Inktense watercolor pencils and then enhanced with water from a small brush to produce the painting.
As I sometimes do a lot of drawing before applying watercolor, this was sort of a natural progression for me. I enjoy the results and will occasionally trot these pencils out for another go.
9.75″ x 14.5″ on 140# Arches cold press block, with Inktense watercolor pencil and brushed on water providing what color there is.
Hope you are all doing ok. On to some fun cartooning, but I have a couple more paintings in the hopper. (In Arnold’s voice: “GET TO THE HOPPER!!!”
