Here is Pandemic Painting #120.
I suppose I’ll keep on going with this series until there ain’t no more pandemic, whenever that might be. I’m having fun doing them and will continue to post my paintings, for whatever reason!
This particular piece was inspired by a photo I found on one of my Indiana Dunes sites. This past week I cranked out 3 paintings in 2 days. And when I say “cranked out”, I mean I did these without putting a whole lot of emotion in them.
This one and the next two are sort of technique exercises; I wanted to paint them quickly and see how they turned out.
Sorry that they are kind of “EH”, but this is just a short phase.
I’m pleased enough with them to post them, so that’s something. Hope you enjoy them.
#120 is 9″ x 12″, done on a block of Arches 300# cold press with good ol’ Winsor & Newtons.
