I did this as a class demo for a new student that I had, showing her a way to do a 30 minute painting. Usually demo pieces are not very good; this one became an exception, particularly after I dry-brushed the dark green negatively at the bottom of the trees. It made the light green grass pop right out. Adding the yellow and white flowers helped, too.
This one clocks in at 10.5″ by 14.25″, made colorful by the application of Winsor & Newton paint (watercolour and gouache) upon Arches 140# cold press paper.
Let’s everybody be safe out there.
