Challenge accepted!
I found out tonight at 8 pm that July is Watercolor Month. The challenge is to paint a watercolor a day for the entire month, in one of those made-up intra-web challenges, kind of like Inktober. I’ve been a little lax in my painting lately, so this is a way to really get me juiced up.
So, here we are with Pandemic Painting #137, a 90-minute effort that has me channeling some Winslow Homer. I decided to switch to my Sennelier colors for some reason tonight. These French-made watercolors are infused with honey as part of the binder and flow very nicely. I’ll use them again.
These will mostly be small pieces; this one is 6″ x 10.5″ on Arches 140# cold press paper.
Stay safe over this fired-up weekend
